WIP – Mixed Medium Project

I’m finally working on my mixed medium project.

I’ve figured out something about my creative process, I like to get the supplies for projects together and then let them set a while before I make them. I have to imagine the project in my mind and the steps I’ll take to create it. Only then am I ready to start the project. This is the part of my creative process that slows me down.
However,
Some projects I start/finish right away. I just rarely know which ones that will be.
Anyway, I hope to have this mixed medium finished soon. I’m on a role with it right now.

    I like to get everything out that I think I will use, then muck about a bit, walk away, come back and see what happens. It is why the craft room is a gigantic mess! 🙂 But now and then a truly amazing thing comes out of it.

  2. I agree with both of you. That is why my husband has me a dedicated room. I may be making fishing things, crocheting a few things or other ideas going. I can close the door and let them “perc” for a while out of the way.

    • Thanks Nadine,
      I think a dedicated room for crafts and creating is a necessity. Perking is what helps make for interesting and better changes. Having lots of different crafts going at once makes me happy. 🙂

    As for process, I have a general idea in my mind, but I do move around a bit fetching this and that – the specifics form as I go along. ☺
