About

11-2013-snlshl
I’m E.C., I’m a happy sufferer of ‘ECD’ (excessive crafting disorder)
My hobby seems to be collecting hobbies and crafts. There’s so many things to make and do that I can’t focus on one single one for very long at a time.

Sometimes, When I’m crafting, if I mess up at some point,
I try to use the oops as a springboard to make something a bit
different or unique. Sometimes a new pattern or idea is born out of it.
~It’s fun when an oops turns into an ahhh.~

I blog to share my latest craft or thoughts with folks
and hopefully get their thoughts and suggestions too.

Thank you for visiting my blog.
I hope you’ll come by again sometime soon.

  1. I love the idea of soda pop cake, I’ll try some out on my grandchildren. Thanks for visiting Punch and Judy they are coming along nicely and soon may even be fully dressed. I’m having to learn about doll clothes making as my lovely wife has refused to dress them for me. Cheerio, Tony

  2. Thank you for dropping by my blog and following me! I love how oops turn into ahhhs. That generally happens to me when I’m crafting outfits for my dog, Coco.

    • Hello Mark
      Welcome to my blog
I enjoy visiting your blog and seeing you’re wonderful wood carvings. My husband and I was admiring your carvings this morning. We look forward to seeing the new creation of dog and fish as you progress with it. That’s a funny one, I haven’t ever seen a dog hold a fish like that before.
I like learning new crafts. I rarely am ever bored with so many different mediums to utilize for crafting.
Thanks so much for visiting and leaving me a comment.
I hope you’ll visit again sometime.

  4. Hi E.C.,

    Hi E.C.,
I enjoy reading your blog and I’ve nominated you for a Liebster Blogging Award. I recently received this and now it’s my turn to nominate some of my fellow bloggers. I chose you as one of my nominees. I know you say you are an award free blog, but I do enjoy your blog and had to give you some recognition anyway.

Please check out today’s post on my blog: http://silverthreading.com/, or my page Liebster Award, for full details. Responding to this award nomination does require a bit of work. If you’re unable to do it, that’s not a problem.

Thank you for sharing your amazing life through your blog. Congratulations, you deserve it.

    • Hi Twistnpout
      Welcome to my blog.
It’s always nice to meet another ECD suffere. It’s my favorite disorder and my craft room shows it… and my house is loaded wall to wall with homemade stuff. lol
I enjoy the surprise crafts that springboard out of mistakes sometimes. Alot of times they’re much better than the original plan.
Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving me a happy comment.

    • Hi Betty
      Welcome to my blog.
Yes I can verify that it takes 12 to 15 yards of 1 1/2 inch wide netting and yarn for me to make a scrubby.
Thank you for visiting and asking about it.
I hope you’ll visit again sometime.
      🙂

I edited in ‘1 1/2 inch wide’ for the netting.

  8. Hi E.C! I have ECD today…I’ve been painting furniture and the like to sell at a yard sale this Saturday. If I don’t get the price I’m going to set, I will try Craig’s List; if they don’t sell, I’ll try consignment. That’s my business plan, in a nutshell. 😉
