Crochet Round Dishcloths

This past weekend I crocheted some new dishcloths. I used to make only squares ones, then last month I crocheted a round one and I like it quite well. The round ones are easier for me to make anyhow.
I prefer using cotton yarn because it’s not expensive and I can get a few dishcloths from each skein. The dishcloths sizes are about 6 inches for the square one and 7 inches for the round ones.

I freehanded the round pattern I used. I haven’t written it up, but I’m working on it.

This photo is a scan of a 35mm photo I took in 1999.
The Spaceship House was a surprise and a delight to see.
We’d never heard of a house like this before seeing this one.
We all had such a fun laugh seeing it. I’m glad I was able to
get a photo of it. It makes me smile every time I look at it.

The Spaceship House has survived through
floods, tornadoes and hurricanes.
They did some work on the foundation
and it looks a bit different now.
