My laptop crashed

I’ve had my laptop less than 2 years and last week it crashed. I’ve tried some of the self-help tech stuff on it, but it’s still broken.12-9-2016-ltI’m letting it run a backup and recovery program. It says it’s “attempting to repair partition table“. It’s been running it since last night. I figure I’ll let it run as long as it wants too.  My hard-drive is 1tb, I’m guessing it may take a couple days to partition it… or not… I’m so lost when it comes to pc tech stuff.

Acorns in a PineCone Tree

I made a ‘Acorns in a PineCone Tree’ holiday tree.p1100235

I painted the pinecone green and then painted white on the tips of its seed scales.
The acorns were left on the ground by squirrels so I didn’t feel bad about using them. I painted the acorns with sparkly red fingernail polish and painted their caps with mod-podge. I hot-glued the acorns to the pinecone.acrnpncnI sculpted the bag base from homemade bakeable bread clay. I painted it with ‘Apple Barrel’ paint and a coat of mod-podge. I hot-glued the pinecone tree to the bread-clay bag base. I tied a piece of red yarn around the bag for a bow.brdbgs

Christmas 3 Trees Tealight

I designed and created a Christmas 3 Trees Tealight.
The 3 trees are made melting pony beads and a metal cookie cutter.
I left the trees sort of rough edged like they might be in the wild.
I hot glued the trees together to make them like a tent to set over a battery operated tealght candle.
I made a small red ball out of polymer clay for the top of the trees and painted it with clear glittery paint.
I made a base for the trees/tealight using the same method I made the trees.
I set a battery operated tealight on the base and set the tree tripod over it.0-all-tetrelghtI like the design pretty well. It’s different because depending on where you’re sitting determines which tree you see… unless you put it on a rotating base.tetrelght
