I have several sewing projects that needs to be done… maybe not needs too, but I really should make/finish them. I’ve few tote bags I crocheted and loomed that need linings and other sewing too. I enjoy designing and sewing. I don’t know why I procrastinate about it so much. I put my projects in a large tote bag along with the notions needed to complete them.
I decided to do a project that I’ve talked about for a few years. I wanted to make a small tissue holder to fit in my purse or pocket. The plastic small tissue packages are fine, but not really economical. I can fold tissues from a regular size box and put them in the pouch and save a few cents. I also wanted a small back pocket for cough drops and maybe a bit of money.
It took me around an hour and a half to design and make the thing. I think of it as a protype. Now that I’ve worked out my pattern, I have a few adjustments to make for the next one.
But all-in-all, I’m quite happy with this one.
Now on to the next project in the tote.
Wishing you all success in your Summertime plans.

I’m starting this lovely cross stitch titled ‘Joy In The Journey’. I bought it a year or so ago. Since I enjoyed doing the
For today’s No-Filter-Friday, I took a photo of my craft-in-progress.
Looks like there’s going to be a new fawn in the neighborhood in the next few weeks. This doe and a young buck came strolling across our land. I wasn’t fast enough to get a good photo of the young buck, but I did manage to get this fairly good photo of the doe. She’s a really good size deer. I hope she’ll bring her baby by sometime. and I hope I can get photos of it.
Every time I step out of the door I’m greeted with the sweet aroma of honeysuckle. It’s really spread alot more this year than previous years. It must’ve been a perfect winter for it to flourish.
I’m trying to make a project using these colors, but so far I have had to salvage two attempts. Sooo, maybe it’ll be 3-times-charm and I’ll actually get my project finished and can share it here soon.
