Wildlife Wednesday – Napping Squirrel

I’m glad it chose to nap in a tree within my line of sight.
I smile each time I look at this photo. I think it’s so cute.

Wildlife Wednesday – Ruffled Blue Heron

With it’s feathers all ruffled as if it had a rough time,
this heron echoes the way I’ve felt the past couple weeks.
Life has been quite a bumpy-ride,
But hopefully, it’ll smooth out soon.

WildLife Wednesday – Screech

IMG_3276Screech came for a visit July 5th.
He stayed for the day and left early in the evening.
We figure the fireworks disturbed his usuall home and he used our shed as a safe house to rest and get his nerves calm again.

For those of you who may be new to my blog and not familiar with Screech, he’s a screech owl that spends winters in our shed.
