      My basil has grown larger this year than ever before and I haven’t a clue why. It’s the same variety, pots and soil I use every year. I’m like you, I love having fresh herbs close enough to step out without shoes and picking a handful to use. 🙂

      This year is the first time I let a basil plant mature to bloom stage.
      I wish I spoke bee language. I wonder if the honey made with basil pollen is herb flavored. lol 🙂

    • Yep Charlotte, unfortunately, there’s more then a few stink bugs that hang out on my tomato plants… and squash plants… and they do not get to survive if I can squish them. Other than sevin, stomping and squishing is the only ways I’ve found to control them with any luck.
