We’ve been frozen in too for several days. Now, not so cold as farther north, but still, for us ten degrees is awfully cold. So glad to see the temps on the rise today. I love the photo of your lovely herb garden. It’s so nice to have fresh herbs on hand, even if some are only eaten by the black swallowtails… Hope you have a healthy and happy 2018.

You all have been super cold too. Our temperatures got as low 4°, but it’s gradually getting warmer our area is in the low 40°’s today. Hopefully it’ll start a trend.
I miss my herb bed. I can hardly wait til after last frost and we can replant it. The swallowtails need a place to eat and court and have big families.

Cool capture E.C.! We have been seeing low single digits here overnight for several days. Last night even got to -1. 😨 Cold enough our couple inches of snow are sticking around. The roads are still lousy, even the main roads still have significant icy patches. My drive to and from work yesterday was not fun. I’ve got the weekend off though and am hoping the roads will be clear by my next shift on Monday. I’m looking forward to the end of next week, it’s supposed to warm up a bit then. Fingers crossed that forecast holds true!

Goodness, you all are getting hit hard. I hope it’s started warming up in your area. I also hope your snow isn’t sticking around for another (old southern wives-tale)
