Classic Impressions Needlepoint -Another Update

I’ve finally finished the rose in the middle of my Classic Impressions Needlepoint project. I’m glad to have it done. I can now work on the last of the borders.
I’ve discovered that if I ever get this project finished and washed, I’m going to have to block it, to try and get it squared up. As you can see, it’s edges are crooked. I guess my stitching tension has varied a bit too much over the years. :/
Anyway, I’m happy to have it this much finished.

Here’s wishing everyone a pleasant rest of the week.

    • Thanks so much Pip,
I’m pleased with how it’s coming along. I’ll be glad when it’s finished. It’s not really patience as much as I’m just super slow at needlepoint.🌞

  1. Looks amazing, E.C.! This is going to be so beautiful when framed. Stitching tension does vary over time; I can see it in small areas of my long-running Fox and Rabbit cross-stitch too. I hope the needlepoint straightens out without much difficulty.

    • Thanks so much Anita,
It’s something how the tension varies. I guess it goes with our moods.
I appreciate the positive thoughts for my needlepoint straightening out. I have a feeling; I’m going to need it. 🌞
