Dogwood winter 2019

It’s Dogwood winter in our region. The dogwood trees are blooming lovely. The weather is cold, rainy and messy, but at least it’s heading towards warmer clear days.

Here’s wishing you all a sunshine filled weekend!

3rd Garden Update of 2019

The weather has been cold and hot and cold and hot and no wonder they call this time of year “pneumonia weather”. The sun makes it’s appearance from time-to-time, not too much time mind-you, it wouldn’t want us to get spoiled to enjoying it. Last frost it still some weeks away, so up and down the temperatures will continue to go.

We have a couple things making their appearance in the garden. The onions and radishes are always eager to be the first to start the season.

Even though our small garden looks sparse and sad, we know it won’t be too many weeks until it’ll start looking more greener and hopefully promising a harvest of vegetables.

Have a wonderful rest of the week!

WIP Wednesday – March 2019 Temperature blankets Update

Here’s my monthly update of my temperature blankets. Crocheting the daily add-on has become a part of my morning routine. My blankets are coming along well. I like the way they look with their different lengths of colors.

I wish you all success in whatever projects you have in the works.

2nd Garden Update of 2019

We’ve planted a few more things in the garden: bright lights chard, icile radishes and yukon gold potatoes. So, along with the onions we planted last week, our garden is off to a good start I think.

Happy gardening!
