14° Sunshine, clear and cold
Thankfully we didn’t get much snow. The sun is shining beautifully. The roads are already clear, so hopefully the snow will be gone by Monday.
My husband told me yesterday evening that now that we’ve had snow, he’s officially ready for Spring. lol I totally agreed with him.
Hope you all are having a pleasant weekend.

We have about 8-10 inches, and still snowing. Wind is blowing it side-ways! Glad you have sunshine: send some to us! They’re saying no melting til at least Tuesday for us.

Bless your hearts. I hope you’re stocked up on supplies and can stay in warm and snug until the snow stops. No melting til Tuesday sounds like a lot of ice might build up on the roads. You all are getting hit hard. Take care and stay warm. Sending warm sunshiney thoughts your way! 🙂

Nice bird bath. Do you feed the birds in the winter?

Thanks Laura
Several years ago we fed the birds all round for many years, then we started having chipmunk issues and had to stop. I miss watching the birds and squirrels at the feeder, but I don’t miss the damage the chipmunks caused. 😉

The picture perfectly illustrates this post. Spring will come. . . just not as soon as we’d like.

Thanks so much Sheryl,
Your comment reminded me of the quote, “If winter comes, can Spring be far behind?”
It’s one of my favorite quotes. 🙂

My parents used to say that. I’d totally forgotten about the quote until you mentioned it.

Hi Sheryl
It’s one of those quotes that gives hope in quite a few of life’s situations. I think that’s why it stuck with me. 🙂

Lots of snow here in New Brunswick. I actually like winter, good time to get cosy and watch the birds.

Winter does have it’s positive points. Bird watching is a lot of fun. Lots of snow sounds like time to snuggle down with a good book. I hope your stocked up and can weather it with little difficulty.
Take care and keep warm! 🙂
