It won’t be long until all these

Nice shot! Ours have mostly left, though I keep the feeder up for the stray fellow who comes blowing through on a fall storm.

Thanks so much Salpal
We’re doing the same thing. We have one feeder up and only see a bird occasionally, usually in the evening. The ones who fly through on their long journey need a place to feed and rest up to continue on in the morning.

I loved seeing them in Mum’s back yard in Marietta, sadly we don’t have them here UK, they were amazing to us Brits.

They’re amazing little birdies. I didn’t realize that the UK didn’t have hummingbirds. That’s interesting. Thanks for sharing.

I don’t think it’s warm enough here for them, they were definitely amazing

They’re so tiny I can’t imagine them migrating! ☺
Hope you have a great rest of the week too, E.C.!

Thanks so much Anita
I know, it doesn’t seem like such a wee critter could survive such a long flight.

Haven’t had a hummer since mid-September.

Hi Patti
It’s interesting. I saw one yesterday, but not today. I figure now that it’s really cool at night that they’ll be gone within the next few days. We miss them already.
