The 2019 temperature blanket that I’ve been working on is for the ‘High’ temperatures of the day. I’ve been playing with the idea of making a second one of the ‘Low’ temperatures of the day. So, last night I pulled up the monthly weather report and began a ‘Low Temp’ blanket. I’m using my same pattern and my same color chart.I think it’ll be pretty neat to see how the 2 blankets compare as time goes on.
Hopefully, I can keep both of them going and come January 1st, 2020, I’ll have two blankets to crochet a border on.
Until then, I plan to make an update on them every 29 days or so.
Here’s wishing you all enjoyment in whatever WIP you’ve got going.

Love this idea, E.C.! I’ve not seen anyone do a temperature blanket for the daily LOW temperature before! I’m going to have to add this to my list of crochet projects I want to tackle. Lol

Thanks so much CW,
I’ve not seen a low temp blanket either, apparently ‘highs’ are the reigning choice. I look forward to seeing your blanket(s) when you get them going. Thanks so much, you made me smile. 😀

Thanks so much Anita,
It’s such a slow-go on doing the wee bit of addition each day on one blanket and it’s fun to have the second blanket to do an addition on also. I hope I can keep them both going. 😀

This is such a fun idea! It’s interesting to see how much the colors differ across the high and low temperature blankets.

One question, did you post your pattern? I’m still new to crochet. 🙂
