2020 Garden Update & Shelibean’s Good Attitude

Sheli’s photo expresses how life has been going around my home… And I’m guessing it may be the way life is going for some other folks homes as well.
I wish you all the best of health and happiness. Big hugs to you all!
We got most of our garden planted over the past few weeks. We’ve still got a few things to go. It helps, to add cheer to our life, walking to the garden and seeing the plants growing with a promise of veggies to come… or a promise of watching deer and bunnies feasting on our plants. 😉
Happy gardening!

My hobby seems to be collecting hobbies and crafts. There's so many things to make and do that I can't focus on one single one for very long at a time. I blog to share my latest craft or thoughts with folks and hopefully get their thoughts and suggestions too.

    1. Hi Kathy,
I’m amazed the corn grew at all. It’s been quite cold here at night and there been some frosts. One of the things about blogging that I enjoy is reading how the seasons change at different times in different regions. I’m hoping our frosts are over with for the year so I can get my squash and cucumbers planted. I hope you have a bountiful growing season. 🙂

      1. We are hoping that too! Our brassicas are out, and got a little frost damaged, but I think they will recover, they have hay around them so it it still green down at the ground. FIngers crossed!

    1. Thanks so much Anita,
Sheli seems to be in tune with the mood of these strange days. He’s such a cool character.
I’m hoping all goes as normal and we and the wildlife will have quite an enjoyable gardening season. 😀

  1. I think we all are trying to get used to our new normal. Until the next big change comes. All we can do is take care of ourselves, and do what we need to do to keep others safe, too. Your garden sounds like a wonderful distraction from this new normal. It looks like things are starting to grow. I hope you have lots of wonderful veggies to feast on. Be safe and stay healthy.

    1. Thanks Ginny,
I agree with everything you said. Our new normal is the best we can do until the next new normal comes around.
Our garden is a nice place to visit and toil in and have high hopes for the future.
Take care of yourself and stay safe. 🙂

  2. I agree – it is fascinating to see when spring arrives in different parts of the world. I just got back to Alberta, and spring is late. Daffodils and tulips have just broken through the ground. No leaves on bushes or trees. Dandelions are well up, but not blooming!

    1. Thanks Sheryl,
We’ve been enjoying our garden quite a bit more these days. We got everything planted this past weekend. It’s truly a stress reliever. 🙂
