I’m crocheting a new shawl using a new type of yarn for me. I’ve reworked the pattern a few times and raveled out the started project 4 times. I think I’m finally at a happy place with the way it’s going.
I’ve not used this yarn before. It’s ‘Red Heart Unforgettable’ Meadow color. The yarn is super soft. I love the color.
The pattern (of the moment) is a simple V-stitch. I like how it looks, so far.
I ordered 50 yellow ‘Dutch Master Daffodil’ bulbs. They arrived this morning. I’m so happy to have them here. I’ll plant them soon. They won’t bloom this year, but hopefully next year they’ll make a pretty showing.
I’m still working on my diamond painting. It’s coming along, but it’s time consuming with all the many colors.
The sun is shining, and the temperature is a comfortable 77°F. It’s such a nice day.
I know there’s some freezing weather moving across the states. I wish the warm winds of Springtime would blow into your areas and chase the winter cold away.
Take care and stay safe.
Have a pleasant rest of the week!

Nice pattern!

Hello Sue Ann,
Welcome to my blog.
Thanks so much. The simple V stitch works up quite easily and it’s enjoyable to do.
Thanks for visiting and leaving me a happy comment.
I hope you’ll visit again some time.

That’s a gorgeous color, E.C. We’re getting that ice storm here in Michigan. It’s not too bad so far so we’ll see.

Thanks so much Colleen,
The sage greens usually have such a simple calming effect to me.
Well shucks! You said the weather would bring cold again to your area and you were absolutely right. It can be scary with ice all around, but beautiful to the eye too.
However, it does seem a good time to bundle up in a warm blanket with a cup of cocoa, tea or coffee and watch an old movie or read a favorite book.
Take care & stay warm. ❤️

I think that may be why I like the sage greens so much, they’re soothing and calming. And pretty too. 🙂

Thanks so much Anita,
I’m always a little hesitant to try new yarns, but the color of this yarn drew me in and I’m glad I bought it. It was a nice surprise that it’s so soft.
I’m hoping for a bright bunch of daffodil beauties next year. We shall see. 🙂
