‘Happy Holidays’ (song written by me)

hhguinHere’s a holiday song I wrote circa 2000. It was inspired by my animation that I made of a Penguin skiing on a candy-cane. It’s possible I got that backwards. It’s been over a decade and a half ago and my memory may have reversed which came first, the song or the animation. I only know that one inspired the other.

I hope you enjoy them!
Wishing you all a Very Safe & Happy Holiday Season!

hhguin(Sing to the tune of ‘Jingle Bells’)

~~~Happy Holidays~~~
~*~
Gliding through the snow,
On a stripe-ed candy cane,
My heart is all aglow,
As I’m singing this refrain,
~
Life would be so great,
We could really celebrate,
If we treated each and everyday,
Like a Happy Holiday!
~
Oh…
Holidays,
Holidays,
Bringing us good cheer.
I sure wish, the happiness,
Would last throughout the year.
~
Holidays,
Holidays,
Bringing us good cheer.
Lets all wish, for the happiness,
To last throughout the year…
~
There’s magic in the air,
Goodies being cooked,
There’s glitter, bells and bows,
Everywhere we look,
~
Oh wouldn’t it be great,
If we all would celebrate,
And treat each and everyday,
Like a Happy Holiday!
~
Oh…
Holidays,
Holidays,
Bringing us good cheer.
I sure wish, the happiness,
Would last throughout the year.
~
Holidays,
Holidays,
Bringing us good cheer.
Lets all wish, for the happiness,
To last throughout the year…
.
So…
Lets all wish, for the happiness,
To last throughout the year…
~*~
      Yep, it’s been a few years since I posted it. When my laptop crashed, I was going though some old files on my detachable drive and saw my song and decided to post it again. 😀
