This Big Beautiful Turkey Hen often strolls through our yard. We’re hoping she has some cute little poults to stroll through our yard too.

What a great photo! I would love to see a turkey stroll through my yard. Instead, I get bunnies that eat all of my flowers 😦

We’ve got bunnies too, they’ve kept our chard trimmed, well the red chard, they don’t seem to like the green chard much. The turkey is much more pleasant. She mostly feeds on blackberries and stuff. 🙂

She looks like she rules the roost. A few years ago visiting an aunt near Boston, USA, we sat in her garden whilst a turkey strolled past – it was amazing to us townies from the UK – and she was surprisingly near the firepit we had going!

Yep, this turkey hen rules the area. It’s always fun and brings a smile to our face to see her. Pleasant close encounters with wildlife always feel like a special gift to us. We sometimes think the wildlife may feel safe or comfortable around certain people by natural instinct. 🙂
