Finished 2022 Temperature Blanket

60″x 80″
My 2022 Temperature blanket has been, for the most part, an enjoyable project. I’m glad I made it, but I’m not planning on making one for this year.
It took me oodles of hours during the 1st and the 2nd days of this year to tie off the yarn-ends on the edges and then crochet the border.
I’m so happy that I’m finally finished with my 2022 temperature blanket.

I hope you all have had a pleasant beginning of 2023.
Wishing you all a year full of joy and happiness!

  1. The blanket is so lovely, E.C.! Your color choices are wonderful, and that includes the border color. ❤️ Also, awesome job getting the border done in 2 days! 🙂

    • Thanks so much Anita,
One of my favorite things about the temperature blanket is the way the colors look a bit like in the olden-days when quilts were made as clothes were worn out and used as blocks. A random color pattern with no planning or design.
I’ve discovered that tan colors pretty much go with any other color. It’s my go-to choice for joining multi-color blocks and borders.
I was surprised that I was able to get my blanket finished in 2 days. Thankfully, it went faster than I thought. 🙂

  2. Happy New Year, E.C.! Your temperature blanket is awesome! That was quite the project. I know you are glad to be done with it. Now you can snuggle up in it on those chilly nights and it will keep you warm. Great job!

    • Thanks so much Ginny,
I’m not making a temperature blanket this year. You’re right, I’m glad I got it finished. As enjoyable as the daily project was, after about 10 months, it became a chore. lol It’s a bright blanket and quite comfy too.
