2019 Temperature blankets Update

My temperature blankets are getting some size to them now. I like the way they’re looking.

My husband told me that my blankets remind him of the music screen the humans played for the aliens on ‘close encounters of the 3rd kind’.  😀

Happy Crafting!

Mr & Mrs Goldfinch’s sunflower feast

Now that some of the sunflower seeds are maturing, Mr & Mrs Goldfinch visits to enjoy a feast of them. I never tire of watching this beautiful and fun couple.

Wishing you all feasts of joy.

Wildlife Wednesday – Female Baby 5 Line Skink

There’s a few of these wee beneficial babies using our back porch as a playground. They’re so charming and so very hard to get a photo of because they’re so fast.
I’m glad this wee-one stopped for a moment while close to a nail-head. The nail-head might help to give some idea of the small size of this female baby skink.

Wishing you all a charming Wednesday!

Wildbird Wednesday: Yellow GoldFinches

Another reason I love zinnias is they attract Yellow Goldfinches or as we like to call them, Canary birds.
Yellow Goldfinches are fun bits of sunshine playing in the zinnia patch.

Wishing you all sunshine and fun.

edited in 7-13-2019: I was talking to my husband about the yellow finches and he casually mentioned to me that they’re called ‘Goldfinches’ . So, I thought I should update this post with the right name in case someone might want to research them further. 😉
