Grey C2C Square Afghan in progress

I’m in the process of crocheting another ‘On the Bias Square Afghan’. One of the things I like best about this pattern is it’s a c2c pattern. I’ve decided to make it the size of the pattern instead of trying to make it larger like I did the first one.
I’m enjoying making this one better than I did the first one. I guess it’s because I’m finally comfortable with the pattern.

The days are grey and rainy with a few sporadic splashes of sunshine. Crocheting is a good way to pass the time.

Wishing you all a week of sunshine and smiles.

  1. I love the color and the pattern, E.C. I’m glad you’re having fun crocheting this one. It’s humid here and gray, as well. It’s a rainy week. I’m busy writing! WOO HOO! Have a good one. Sending you love and sunshine ☀️🧡

    • Thanks so much Colleen,
We’re still having gray days, but there’s bouts of sunshine. It’s still miserably hot here.
Staying in the cool and writing, sounds like a peach of a way to spend the day.
      🌞🧡

  2. That’s a lovely color, E.C.! I like how your WIP looks. Looks like our days match yours this time. 🙂 I’m yet to pick up my crochet work, though; it’d definitely be a happy way to spend the time!

    • Thanks so much Anita,
It’s really too hot to crochet much during the day. I mostly crochet a night when it cools off more.
I’m sending happy cool thoughts your way.😊

    • Hello Portraitist,
      Welcome to my blog.
I hope this pattern goes better for you than it did for me on my first attempt at making it. It’s quite fulfilling finishing a project that’s took awhile to do.
So far, I’ve only made 2 blankets with this particular yarn. I’ve washed the blankets once and they didn’t have lint balls yet. However, with use and time, it may get them. Unfortunately, with my stuff, that’s what usually happens.
Thanks so much for visiting and leaving me a comment. I hope you’ll visit again sometime.
      🙂
